Aimee is a provisional psychologist with a background in mental health and disability support work. While studying she worked as a mental health support worker for NDIS and private clients, this included adolescents, adults and older adults with a variety of presentations.
Aimee is passionate about forging a strong therapeutic relationship while providing a safe, open, and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their issues. She approaches therapy with warmth, empathy, and creativity. Utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness modalities, Aimee believes in working at a deeper level with clients to foster real long-lasting change. As each person is unique, therapy is largely tailored to suit each individual’s needs. She is interested in uncovering unconscious processes and aims not only to alleviate the most obvious symptoms, but to help people lead healthier, fuller lives.

Art by Kristi Kirk. A proud Kamilaroi woman who hails from the Gamilaraay and Gomeroi tribes in NSW, Kristi Kirk, was commissioned to create this piece for Dokotela . The interconnecting circles in Kristi’s artwork represent the coming together of communities with Dokotela practitioners to make specialist care more accessible to our First Nations People.
