Phil is a registered psychologist with over 25 years of experience in a range of therapeutic contexts. He uses an integrative approach, utilizing various therapeutic models for healing, growth and optimal functioning for individuals and their families. He believes that his clients are the experts of their own lives, and creatively facilitates their healing and growth towards their full potential.

Phil treats individuals with the following conditions and presentations: Mood Disorders, Anxiety, PTSD, Developmental and Attachment Trauma, Dissociation and Somatization, bereavement and grief, relationship counselling and family problems, eating disorders and assessments. Phil has a keen interest in the mental health of older people, providing assessment of memory functions and dementia and offering guidance and support to individuals who are diagnosed with dementia and their families. He holds a master’s degree in counselling psychology from the University of Johannesburg and worked in private practice in Australia for the last fifteen years.
