Meet Corrine

Corinne is Dokotela’s superstar PHN Program Manager and Operational Supervisor. She plays a crucial role in ensuring everything on the operational side runs smoothly and ensures collaboration between the PHN teams and Dokotela’s internal operational teams.

Developing successful PHN projects

As the PHN Program Manager, Corinne takes charge of everything operationally for the PHN programs, focusing on improving quality and building relationships and partnerships with regional PHN organisations to improve patient care and access.

In her role, Corinne runs the contracts with the three PHNs Dokotela has partnered with; Southwestern Sydney PHN, Central Eastern Sydney PHN and Nepean Blue Mountains PHN. This involves managing daily operations, liaising with the PHN teams, overseeing Dokotela’s internal operations team, and through all this, always keeping the patient’s experience in mind. In her time at Dokotela, she’s shown complete dedication to ensuring efficient processes and supporting team leaders, and a commitment to delivering the best possible mental health and telehealth services.

Operational excellence

Corinne also excels in her capacity as an Operational Supervisor, overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple teams. Her responsibilities include managing Dokotela’s three operational teams; Admissions, Clinical Care Coordination and Client Service, providing day-to-day support, overseeing their task loads, optimising processes and supporting the team leaders.

Corinne’s journey of growth

“I’ve been able to do a lot here in my time with Dokotela, and I’ve been given many opportunities to grow and do new things.”
Corinne’s journey with Dokotela began in August 2021, initially joining as a junior team member in the Southwestern Sydney team. Through her dedication and hard work, she quickly progressed to become a senior member, making her mark as she led development projects like automating processes and the implementation of self-service options for patients. Her journey continued as she transitioned to Central Eastern Sydney, taking on roles as both a team leader and senior member.
As Corinne transitioned from a general team member to a supervisor, she took on this new challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow.
“With the guidance and support from other supervisors and Dokotela’s CEO, Anita Mustac, I grew in confidence and learned how to navigate the transition and grow the relationships with my team members.”
Corinne’s impact on Dokotela has been profound, particularly when it comes to automation and efficiency. She played a huge role in developing an online booking system and testing booking links, enhancing efficiency for patients. On top of this, Corinne was responsible for training her team on new processes in order to streamline appointment processes. This ensures that they are equipped to deliver the highest quality service to patients.

Dedicated to making things better

Corinne’s passion for her work with PHNs is obvious, driven by the mission to help those with mental health challenges, especially in underserved areas. From day one, she’s focused on improving patient care and expanding the reach of mental health services. This dedication stems from her genuine desire to make a positive change for people struggling with mental health challenges.
Corinne continues to focus on outreach with other PHNs, always looking to grow the PHN program in order to provide quality mental health services to even more people across Australia.

My work in securing partnerships with our PHNs and knowing that we can provide free psychiatry for people in the region is really rewarding.

Looking ahead

In the future, I hope that we’re able to partner with even more PHNs and bridge that gap between people that need mental health services but can’t access them.
